Shuai Chen received his BSc degree (2014) from Jilin University, Changchun, China, where he studied Geophysics on the project of National Excellence Engineers Education Program. After graduation, he continued his master study in Geophysical Prospecting and Information Technology as recommended exemption graduate. His master thesis topic was Three-dimensional anisotropic forward modeling and inversion of CSEM in frequency-domain, under the supervision of Prof. Tonglin Li.
In 2017, Shuai joined BIGR group as Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Marleen de Bruijne and Prof. Wiro Niessen. His research interests are developing novel machine learning and deep learning algorithms for the applicational scenarios in medical imaging.
