Biography

Aniek is currently a master student at TU Delft, Erasmus MC, LUMC. As part of Technical Medicine, Aniek is interning at the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR) and the Rotterdam Ophthalmic Institute (R.O.I.) supervised by Luisa Sachez Brea and Danilo Andrade de Jesus. Aniek’s thesis project focuses on developing a tool for the automatic segmentation of corneal parts to quantize the endothelium in Fuchs patients. This research aims to provide a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the disease.
