Frederik successfully completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Rostock, Germany, in 2022. His academic journey continued as he joined the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree program in Medical Imaging and Applications, a collaborative effort among the Universities of Girona, Burgundy, and Cassino. For his final year project, Frederik became part of the BIGR group, working on his master thesis under the supervision of Douwe Spaanderman. His research focuses on the innovative use of delta-radiomics, alongside machine and deep learning techniques, to predict therapy responses in patients with high-grade sarcoma. The ambition is to improve patient outcomes in high-grade sarcoma by providing clinicians with state-of-the-art, patient-tailored predictions.
