Biography
Junkang is a master’s student in Bioinformatics at VU & UvA. In September 2025, he joined the BIGR group as a research intern under the supervision of Natalia Oviedo Acosta and Martijn Starmans. For his master’s thesis, he focuses on developing dynamic, learnable preprocessing methods for MRI-based analysis of soft tissue tumor, aiming to optimize the preprocessing stage and improve the overall performance and reliability of downstream AI models.
