Biography

Qiang is a master’s student in Bioinformatics at VU & UvA. In September 2024, she joined the BIGR group as a research intern under the supervision of Xinyi Wan, Martijn Starmans, and Stefan Klein. For her master’s thesis, she focuses on Uncertainty Quantification in Deep Learning Networks for MRI-Based Diagnostics in lipomatous tumors. This study aims to improve the reliability of AI in lipomatous tumor diagnosis.
