PhD defense Robin Camarasa

Robin successfully defended his PhD thesis “The carotid artery in bits & pieces”!!

On October 18, Robin succesfully defended his PhD thesis: ‘The carotid artery in bits & pieces’. In 2019, he started his Ph.D. at Erasmus MC under the supervision of Marleen de Bruijne and Daniel Bos. Robin worked on advancing deep learning methodologies applied to the segmentation of vascular imaging. Between 2020 and 2023, he additionally worked as a scientific programmer for the BIGR group.

After completing his Ph.D., Robin began working as a Cloud Edge Software Engineer at Nederlandse Organisatie voor toegepast-natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek (TNO).
