Kaouther Mouheb is a PhD Candidate under the research line on Neuroimage Analysis & Machine Learning. Her research is at the forefront of the application of deep learning techniques to advance the field of radiology, with a keen emphasis on upholding fairness, data privacy, and security. She started her PhD at BIGR on 2023 and she is currently working on establishing a fedearated network across multiple centers in the Netherlands, with the final aim of building a federated deep learning approach for differential diagnosis of Dementia leveraging multimodal data.
Kaouther holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, with a specialization in AI and Computer Vision, obtained from Eskisehir Technical University (Turkey). She is an alumna of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree program in Medical Imaging and Applications (MaIA). Her prior experience includes a role as a Research Graduate Student at the ViCOROB lab at the University of Girona, where she explored the application of federated learning for breast density estimation. She conducted her Master’s thesis project at the Duke Center for Virtual Imaging Trials, where she utilized point-diffusion models to refine 3D shapes of organs for digital phantom generation.
