Ruisheng Su successfully defended his PhD thesis “Image Analysis of Cerebral Angiography in Ischemic Stroke”, rewarded with a ‘Cum Laude’ distinction!!
In February 2020, Ruisheng Su started his PhD with the project titled “Q-Maestro: Quantification of brain reperfusion in X-ray images in endovascular treatment for stroke patients”, under the supervision of the four promoters: Dr.ir. Theo van Walsum, Prof.dr. Wiro Niessen, Prof.dr. Aad van der Lugt, and Prof.dr.ir. Danny Ruijters. His research focused on addressing both technical challenges and clinical applications of machine learning methods for analyzing digital subtraction angiography images in the context of acute ischemic stroke.
At the beginning of this month, Tuesday 2 April 2024, he defended his dissetation and was awarded a cum laude distinction.
