At the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2024, Esther Bron was interviewed about the EUCAIM (European Cancer Imaging) project, which you can see below!!
On March 2, 2024, Esther participated in an ECR Studio Interview (part of the European Congress of Radiology 2024, Vienna) to talk about the EUCAIM (EUropean Federation for CAncer IMages) project and the Cancer Image Europe platform, to which the BIGR Infrastructure Team is contributing.
She highlighted the significance of the EUCAIM’s first platform release on AI in cancer research; it contributes to closing the data gap between data holders/radiologists and AI researchers by offering a large collection of fragmented imaging data that can be used to develop AI-driven technologies in cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, she explained how this platform will benefit radiologists as well as AI developers.
