Bo Li successfully defended her PhD thesis “Advancing brain MRI analysis in aging and disease with deep learning”!!
On June 16, Bo successfully defended her PhD thesis: ‘Advancing brain MRI analysis in aging and disease with deep learning’. In her thesis, she developed deep learning approaches to enhance brain MRI analysis across three key areas: dMRI analysis, interpretable AI for aging and dementia studies that minimize the effects of confounding, and clinical translation of AI-driven neuroimaging methods. Bo’s PhD defense was a special one, because she defended remotely from the USA. Bo did very well and we very much congratulate her with the doctorate degree.
Bo is currently working at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s hospital in Boston/USA, where she holds a position as Instructor of Radiology and works on early-life neuroscience, developing deep learning and computational approaches for spatiotemporal analysis of fetal and neonatal brain development.
