Biography
Maraya earned her BSc in Medical Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2020 and began her career in the laboratory industry. After nearly two years in the field, she pursued her MSc in Biomedical Technology and Physics, also at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. At BIGR, she worked on her master’s thesis, focusing on 2D/3D image registration of cerebrovascular images in the Image Guidance in Interventions and Therapy (IGIT) group under the supervision of Theo and Frank.
