Eye Image Analysis Group Rotterdam

The Eye Image Analysis Group Rotterdam (EyeR) is a collaboration between the departments of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine and Ophthalmology of the Erasmus MC, together with the Rotterdam Eye Hospital. This research line focuses on using artificial intelligence and image processing techniques on ophthalmic data, in order to develop more accurate and robust tools for the clinicians. The research projects tackle a variety of tasks, from retinal motion correction and co-localization of different imaging modalities, to automatic segmentation of regions of interest and quantification of biomarkers, or end-to-end classification models for screening or disease progression analysis.
