Gonzalo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. After that, he completed an Erasmus Mundus joint Master’s degree in Medical Imaging and Applications at the University of Girona (Spain), University of Burgundy (France), and University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy). He is currently a PhD student at the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine department of the Erasmus Medical Center. He is part of the BIGR group and the ICAI lab in Trustworthy AI for MRI (TAI-MRI). His research focuses on the development of trustworthy AI methods for glioma diagnosis, including Uncertainty Quantification.
