Biography
Gonzalo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering at Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. After that, he completed a joint Master’s degree in Medical Imaging and Applications at the Universitat de Girona (Spain), Université de Bourgogne (France), and Università degli studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale (Italy). He is currently a PhD student at the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine department of the Erasmus Medical Center. He is part of the BIGR group and the ICAI lab in Trustworthy AI for MRI (TAIMRI). His research focuses on the development of trustworthy AI methods for brain tumor diagnosis.
