Biography

Jing is a PhD student at Erasmus MC departments of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine and Epidemeology, she is in the working group of Computational Population Biology. Her PhD research focuses on high-dimensional brain MRI data for genetic analysis. In particular, she works on using deep learning models for dementia risk prediction combining imaging and genetic data and extracting image features for genetic analysis. She is also leading a collaborate pilot study on federated learning for brain age prediction.

Jing was born in 1996 in Zhejiang, China. She received her Bachelor and Master degree of Statistics in 2018 and 2020 respectively. She found her interests in mathematical modeling and finding relational patterns of data. She joined BIGR group since 2021.
