Biography

Laura Dias is a PhD student in the research line on Neuroimage Analysis & Machine Learning. She obtained her MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics cum laude from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. She started her PhD in 2025, and her research interests lie in applying machine learning to clinically relevant problems. Her PhD project, embedded in the PREDICTFTD consortium, focuses on the development of AI models for the early detection of Frontotemporal dementia using liquid and imaging biomarkers.
