Riwaj successfully defended his PhD thesis “Accelerated Quantitative MRI by Joint Reconstruction and Quantification”!!
On September 26, Riwaj succesfully defended his PhD thesis: ‘Accelerated Quantitative MRI by Joint Reconstruction and Quantification’. In 2018, he started his Ph.D. at Erasmus MC under the supervision of Stefan Klein and Dirk Poot
Riwaj worked on acceleration methods to enable faster quantitative MRI (qMRI) which typically require a long scan time but provide not only qualitative images that can be visually interpreted by specialists but also offer calibrated measurements of tissue properties that can be quantitatively compared and analyzed.
After completing his Ph.D., Riwaj began working as a Signal and Image Processing Engineer in the R&D department of Nearfield Instruments in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
