Biography

Anne completed her Bachelor and Master in Medicine at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in gynaecology, with a particular focus on fetal-maternal medicine and prenatal imaging. For nearly five years, she worked as a medical student on the obstetric ward of Erasmus MC, where her passion for this field continued to grow. In May she started as a PhD student at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and BIGR. Her research is part of the AI4PIA project focusing on Fully automating the Anomaly Screening in the first Trimester of pregnancy using Artificial Intelligence (FAST-AI). Her project is a collaboration between the Periconception Epidemiology group of the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR) of the department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
