Biography
Natalia Oviedo completed her BSc degree in Informatics Engineering in 2021 at UAGRM, Bolivia. After a year of working in the industry, she began her joint MSc program in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam. Natalia commenced her MSc thesis at BIGR in the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine in September 2023, under the direct supervision of Dr. ir. Stefan Klein and Dr. ir. Martijn P. A. Starmans. Her project focuses on developing an adaptive deep learning model for oncology classification using medical imaging data through automated machine learning.
